2018 Hagi Jidai Festival – Hagi School
On November 11, We participated in the Hagi Jidai Festival, one of the festivals with long history in Hagi.
We participated in the Daimyo’s procession, walking in the city centering on the castle town. It seems that over 200 people participated in the Daimyo’s procession. Participating students changed into cavalry uniforms and marched for about two hours.
Also we participated in the festival of the night section.
Only students aged 20 years or older participated in the sake tasting event. They also experienced other Japanese culture like Karuta games and calligraphy. They thoroughly enjoyed the festival.
