2017 Chinese New Year
A Happy New Year!
At Chinese New Year’s day, we treat our students with Zenzai(sweet red bean soup) every year, which is one of the traditional New Year’s food in Japan.
It is customary to eat Zenzai to ward off bad luck.
Though it’s the first time to try Zenzai for many of them, we are glad they enjoyed it. I personally love Zenzai and have it often during cold winter season wondering if my bad luck was driven away.
